Leonie's Retirement

The whole community joined to celebrate and say thanks to Leonie for all her commitment, enthusiasm, vision and hard work over the past 7 years.  She started out in Corbenic as the House Co-ordinator in Mullach House back in 2010. An opportunity to head up the Horse Workshop arose and so Leonie willingly took the reins, splitting her time between horses and pioneering a House garden workshop to bring life and colour to Corbenic.

She transitioned fully to the House Garden Workshop Leader in 2015 until May 2017, when she made the decision to hang up her gardening gloves and apron.  We say thank you to Leonie as a community for the legacy she leaves behind, not to mention all the beautiful flowers and plants that will be seasonal little reminders of her time here.

There was singing, speeches and a presentation of a beautiful hand felted wall hanging, made in the craft workshop.
