We have two horses living with us, Udo the Highland pony and Duke the Halflinger. The horses are a popular part of the community and many residents benefit from the therapeutic affects of being involved with them.

Horse riding provides significant therapeutic benefits for the rider. It can help the rider become more relaxed and supple, strengthening core stability, reducing spasms and improving balance, posture and co-ordination. It also provides the opportunity to experience freedom of movement and an element of excitement and risk often denied to people with disabilities.
